The Spice Producers Company Ltd, formed in 2013 as a Farmers Producer Company in Idukki, the spice trade capital of Kerala, soon became synonymous with grass-root level oganic farming revolution. That strong was the passion, that clear was the vision of its founder Mr N.R.Jaimon. native of Idukki, Mr. Jaimon had been observing agriculture very closely since childhood and the patierns of soil abuse in Kerala’s farm lands made him sad. He really felt the need of revitalizing the soil, regaining its fertility, restoring its organic texture. Through SPC, he could fulfil his dream of sustainable farming methodsthat enhance the health of ecosystems and produce safe, nutritious food. SPC brings organic fertilizers, boosters and rejuvenators for all crops, errains and soils. SPC works to Make India Organic, through a series ofcommunity-oriented initiatives across all the 2.5 lakh Panchayat’s of the country. Education, Rural Employment generation and Women Empowerment play a big role in our efforts to bring in an organic revolution on as well as socio-economic wellbeing of the society.

SPC Ltd. now promotes and encourages organic farming in over 730 Panchayats in Kerala. "

Dr. Kannan brings over two decades of agricultural expertise to the forefront of organic farming innovations. With an academic foundation in agriculture, he holds a Master's degree in this field from a prestigious Indian institution, further complemented by a Master's in Management, specializing in Marketing. His tenure commenced at Coorg Coffee, a subsidiary of the renowned TATA group, India's premier coffee production company, where he demonstrated multifaceted leadership. During his impactful service at Coorg, Dr. Kannan managed extensive coffee, cardamom, cocoa, pepper, and orange cultivations, honing his skills in agribusiness operations. Following his significant contributions to Coorg Coffee, Dr. Kannan was entrusted with spearheading the development of a 260-acre organic farm in Coimbatore, a testament to his proficiency in sustainable agricultural practices and his commitment to enhancing agro-ecological systems
